Description
7/14/23 - This is an excellent example of a Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market in the 1940's. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. There is a very interesting factory mistake on the left side of the frame where it looks like the serial number was originally very lightly struck into the metal before the mistake was realized. This serial does match the primary serial number on the right side of the frame. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. A few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Very minor thinning on the front strap. The frame has a really nice plumb color to it, typical of these commercial guns. Comes with excellent reddish grips and a period-correct "jvd" magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
