Description

3/1/22 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. This one is scarce because it has a single-line slide legend. It is in the proper "m" serial block for this variation. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap, where there is also brown patina. There is muzzle wear, hints of wear on the high edges of the slide, and light brown patina on the barrel. Comes with black bakelite grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
