Description
3/4/22 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, "United States Property" marked on the underside of the barrel, and has the proper flaming bomb and Eagle Head military acceptance proofs. The whole gun has been professionally restored, so the bluing is really nice. The gun has retained virtually all of its finish - there isn't even a roll mark on the cylinder. There is just some pin-pricking on the right side of the frame that has been blued-over. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Comes with a set of minty wood replacement grips. The bore has strong rifling pin-pricking in some of the grooves.Specifications
