Description
3/4/22 - This is an excellent example of a Nambu Type 14 rig issued to the Japanese military in September of 1938. The gun is all matching and comes as a rig with an excellent hardshell leather holster, blued cleaning rod, and two original matching numbered magazines. The gun has the proper earlier features, such as the small trigger guard and nickeled magazines. "Yokosuka Japan Sept 1945" is scratched into the leather on the inside of the holster, presumably done by the GI who captured it. The gun has retained about 97% of its original bluing. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are tiny dots of oxidation throughout. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips. They are hand-numbered on the inside to match the gun. The bore is shiny with good rifling.Specifications
