Description

8/18/26 - This is a very nice example of a CZ Model 24 issued to the Czech military in 1926. The gun is all matching and has the proper Czech lion proofs. Dated 1926 on the frame with a 1925 date on the slide. There is also a military unit marking on the front strap "13P 563". It comes with an original WW2 document that lists this exact gun by serial number (mislabeled as a CZ 27) and names one Eugene Tylee as the GI who captured it. Also included is an envelop containing Eugene's original discharge paperwork and gun registration card for this pistol (with the gun's matching serial number). The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. The wear is concentrated mostly along the round edges of the slide, but there is also minor wear on the front strap and on the underside of the trigger guard. Fitted with a very nice period-correct wood grip. Very nice bore with good rifling. It comes with a period-correct but improper CZ 27 magazine - it fits in the gun nicely but will likely cause feeding issues.
