02/09/26 - For sale is a commercial Winchester Model 1897 riot gun made in 1927. While these fall outside of the government contract range, Winchester would make limited numbers of 1897's in the riot configuration for the commercial market. The bluing on the metal is all but gone, with some of it remaining on the barrel. The receiver has turned a bare metal with the browning of patina. The stock has been sanded. The bore is bright, but there is carbon fouling visible.
