5/11/26 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Police Positive Revolver issued to the Railway Express Agency in 1931. It is all matching and has the proper "RY. EX. AGY." Railway Express Agency marking on the back strap. It comes as a rig with a period-correct tan leather holster labeled "Railway Express Agency". The gun has retained about 95% of its original high polish Colt bluing. There is muzzle wear, minor high edge wear, some light brown patina on the grip straps, and some areas of spotty oxidation on the top strap and on the cylinder. Fitted with excellent original Colt wood grips. The bore is mint.
