Description
3/10/22 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Ortgies semi auto pistol sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. No "Germany" export mark. There is a name, "Lt.v. Veltheim" scratched lightly into the left grip panel. The gun has retained about 93% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is concentrated around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There are some areas of minor pin-pricking on back strap and back right of the slide. A few tiny scratches on the front strap. Comes with nice period-correct grips (minor bruising here and there) and one post-war magazine. The bore has good rifling with some areas of very minor pin-pricking here and there.Specifications
