Description
3/10/22 - This is an excellent example of a transitional Mauser Model 1910/34 sold in the commercial market in the 1930's. This one was probably manufactured in the late 1930's, since these guns weren't made in .25 caliber until about 1936. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown U" commercial proofs. This one comes as a rig with a rare commercial brown leather holster and two period-correct magazines. The holster is un-marked, and the stitching that holds the closure strap to the top flap has come apart. The gun has retained about 95% of its bluing. There is minor wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are some small spots of textured oxidation here and there along the left side of the gun. Small dots of discoloration here and there on the right side of the gun. Some light handling marks on the underside of the frame and on the front strap. Comes with a nice period-correct wood grip - one tiny chip in the bottom left corner. Mint bore.Specifications
