Description
11/4/25 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in about 1935. All matching and "Crown N" proofed. Right side of the frame stamped "OLB". This is a scarce but documented variation (see page 100 of Deiter Marschall's Walther Pistols) with nebulous origins, though it is posited to be potentially a special police or factory security marking, certainly somewhere within the ministry of the interior. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. The wear is concentrated on the grip straps, around the muzzle, and around the high edges. Fitted with period-correct black grips - an area of wear on the right side. Comes with a Walther banner-only magazine. Mint bore.
