2/3/26 - This is a fairly early Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in January of 1935. It is all matching and comes with a period-correct nickled magazine that is not matching. The gun has been completely nickel plated, likely done by the GI who brought it home. The nickel plating has a duller finish over the trigger guard, front of the frame, and on the back left and right of the frame. There is light surface scratching on the finish throughout (very common for a nickel plated finish). Fitted with period correct grips with no legible numbering. The bore shows great rifling with areas of light pinpricking.
