Description
6/29/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PPK sold in the commercial market in 1936. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It also has a large engraved "2" marking on the left side of the frame. The meaning of this marking is unknown and makes the history of this gun a fascinating mystery. It comes with a small yellow lanyard, a period-correct unmarked holster, and a proper Walther banner-only magazine. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and spotty wear along both sides of the slide, especially the round edge. Comes with a nice brown grip with hairline cracks on both sides. Mint bore.Specifications
