Description
4/21/26 - This is a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1937. This is a second variant with blued small parts. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs. It's original finish rates somewhere between 85-90%. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some brown patina. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and an area of spotty oxidation with pitting along the right side rail. There is an area with tiny dings on the metal on the takedown lever and left side rail. Fitted with very nice matching-numbered wood grips. Comes with a magazine that is not matching but close in serial number. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is some frosting and fouling in the grooves.
