3/4/26 - This is a Mauser Banner Luger sold in the commercial market in 1939. The gun is all matching, has the Mauser banner logo on the toggle, and has a commercial "Crown U" proof. Its finish rates roughly 70-75%, and we believe some of the finish has been touched up with cold blue in a few small areas. The finish loss is concentrated on the grip straps, along the barrel, on the side plate, around the high edges in general, and around the muzzle. The grips are technically matching-numbered, but they were numbered post-factory. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" marked magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is light frosting throughout.
