Description
7/9/26- For sale is a 1939 K98 bayonet. The blade has significant patina and some evidence of edge grinding. The blade is serialized 8172c on one side, marked "E. Pack & S." on the other side, and dated 39 on the spine. The grips are intact. The pommel has heavy oxidation and two small WaA proofs. The scabbard has significant patina and paint loss, including one dent on the back. The scabbard is stamped "42cul", indicating that it is not a matched set. The leather frog is worn and the handle strap is partly broken. Overall in fair condition.
