05/04/26 - For sale is a K98k made by JP Sauer in 1939, and was converted into a faux-sniper by a prior owner. The rifle has a worn bluing, but the receiver has been touched up with cold blue. The stock is smooth, and the surface is lightly sanded. There is a 3.5" crack on the left side of the buttstock. The serial number was also stamped on the left side which is not standard. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling, but it is starting to frost over and there is some spotting of pitting about 2-3 inches from the muzzle. The rifle is mismatched. The scope mount and scope are post-war and not original.
