Description
9/25/25 - This is a 1939 production of the Walther model LP34 flare pistol from WWII. The pistol has a Duraluminum construction and single-barrel design. All correct parts with proper proof stamps. The finish rates about 85% overall condition, with some small areas of pitting here and there, and spots where the metal has been scrapped away on the perimeter of the frame in front of the hammer, and below the barrel pin on the right side of the frame, as well under the barrel, the latter of which is marring a numbered part (which appears to be matching the first 3 digits in the serial number "928"). There is also some mild edge and muzzle wear, along with some areas of scrapping and discoloration on the barrel. Light pitting and mild thinning of the finish throughout the trigger and trigger guard. Areas of wear around the screws suggest disassembly. The bore is generally clean and in great shape. Fully functional with a smooth action. Excellent bakelite grips. Comes with a hardshell 1944 dated holster, which is maker stamped next to the date on the interior of the top flap. The cleaning rod closure strap is torn off cleanly and is still included with the listing.
