11/18/25 - This is a nice example of an Enfield SHT LE III* rifle issued to the British military in 1940. It has the proper British military proofs throughout, but the bolt is mismatched. The finish on the metal parts rates somewhere between 85-90%. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is light spotty oxidation here and there. General high edge wear. The wood furniture has no major damage but shows obvious signs of use. Two small wood repairs on the upper handguard. The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with noticeable frosting in the grooves.
