7/30/26 - This is a good example of a 1940 dated Luger holster that was manufactured by C. Otto Gehrckens for the German Army. The brown leather is in overall good condition with minor cracking over the front of the holster and some scuffing on the back of the holster. The closure strap has some wrinkling but remains very supple. The stitching is intact throughout the holster except on a portion of the flap where there are about 10 threads missing. There appears to be a period repair on the left belt loop stitching. On the back of the holster there is the C. Otto Gehrckens maker mark and a WaA279 mark.
