1940 Luger Holster - Kimnach U Brunn

8/26/26 - For sale is a Luger holster manufactured by Kimnach U Brunn in 1940. The leather on this holster is in good shape with minimal color loss, though the finish does have more of a matte finish now from finish thinning. The leather has remained sturdy but is more pliable than we generally see with these holsters. There is no sign of any rips or tears on the holster, and the only notable finish loss is a scratch that is about 1" in length on the top of the lid. On the back of the holster, the left belt loop has been replaced, though it does not appear that any damage has been sustained by the holster itself. The stitching on the holster is strong and tight with no signs of any ripped or missing stitches. The back of the holster between the belt loops, it bears the "Kimnach U Brunn / Kaiserslautern" maker's mark, though it has worn and is faint towards the top of the stamp. Below the maker's mark, it hold the "1940" production year designation, followed by the "WaA416" inspection proof. Overall this is a good example of a 1940 Luger holster.
