Description
3/16/26 - Here we have a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun seems to be a put together gun from two different lugers. Every part on the top part of the gun is serialized to "7933". The entire frame, however, is serialized to "6668c". The gun also has a Navy marking on the back strap that we are not positive is genuine. The gun has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor wear on the side plate, by the muzzle, and on the grip straps. There is linear wear on the front grip strap by the trigger guard that measures .75". The gun is fitted with mint matching-numbered (to frame) wood grips. The magazine has been ground and force-matched to the slide of the gun and is Navy marked a few digits off from the Navy mark on the backstrap. The majority of the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there are some areas of frosting.
