Description
8/28/26 - This is a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is mostly matching, but the trigger and rear toggle pin are mismatched. It has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 75% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is concentrated along the barrel, on the high edges, and on the front strap. There is noticeable brown patina on the grip straps, areas of spotty oxidation (mostly on the side plate), and noticeable pitting along the left side of the barrel. There is green paint on the safety lever and sights. Fitted with matching-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips - the initials "FH" are scratched on the inside of both panels. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
