SOLD - 1940 Nazi Walther P.38 - AC 40 (6064a - 15350)

5/5/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. This gun is being sold on consignment. The consignor put together a very cool assembly to accompany the gun that includes a labeled hard case, repro Nazi armband, 1939-dated Cross of Honor with swords, a 1939-dated Merit Badge, and several Third Reich coins. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There is spotty wear on the front strap, wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle, and an area of wear on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine that is mismatched but very close. The bore bore is shiny with strong rifling with spotty freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
