Description
3/12/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1940. One of only about 4,600 made. It is all matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide, and has an installed police sear safety. It comes as a complete matching rig with two matching-numbered magazines, a matching-numbered and police marked tool, and an excellent 1939-dated police holster that is also numbered and matching to the gun. Unfortunately, someone wrote "Match (2)" in black sharpie along the spine of one of the magazines. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its finish. Just very minor high edge wear and muzzle wear. There is some very light pin-pricking under the bluing on the side plate, so we believe the side plate has been refinished. Fitted with mint matching-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips. Mint bore.
