Description
6/23/26 - This is a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with "Eagle 135" proofs instead of "Eagle 655" proofs. All matching. It is fitted with a set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips - they wiggle a little bit even when the screws are tight. It comes as a rig with one original "Black Widow" magazine, an "Eagle 655" tool, and a 1941-dated holster. The holster shows noticeable surface wear throughout, and there are some stitches missing from the seam of the top strap. The gun's finish rates about 93% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, a few small handling marks on the left side of the frame, and some areas of pin-pricking on the side plate and grip straps. The bore has strong rifling, but there is noticeable freckling in the grooves.
