Description
1/9/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser HSC issued to the German military in 1941. All matching with the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proof on the web of the trigger guard. It has the correct earlier features, such as the hole in the back strap for the lanyard and the high polish finish. It comes as a rig with two later half-moon magazines and a generic tan leather holster (the name "LAWSON" is scratched into the top flap). The gun's original bluing rates about 95%. There is an area of wear on the right side of the slide, a few dots of discoloration on the left side of the slide, and some light freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips (a few small bruises). Mint bore.
