Description
4/17/26 - This is a byf 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a mismatched but period-correct magazine, a scarce un-numbered "S/42" marked armorers replacement magazine, and a 1940-dated tan leather holster (there is an added Nazi Eagle pin on the front). The gun has retained roughly 75% of its original bluing with areas of obvious spotty discoloration, oxidation, and pitting. It's concentrated mostly along the barrel and on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips - there is a bruise on the right side. The bore has great rifling, but there is some freckling in the grooves.
