Description
11/1/19 - This is a Walther P.38 from August of 1941, and has two matched magazines. The bluing on the gun rates at 99% but the 'X' on the slide indicates Russian capture, so the bluing was likely restored by the Russians. There are a couple minor areas of freckling that have been blued over on the slide and barrel. The magazines are both matching numbered to the gun but also may have been done by the Russians based on the style of numbering. The grips are in great shape and have the Walther E/359 inside. The left panel hasn't been modified but the right panel has been shaved slightly or 'Russian cut'. Bore has strong rifling but some frost and freckling throughout. Mechanically sound, including de-cocker.Specifications
