Description
7/6/26 - This is a very nice BYF 42 "black widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The pistol is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It is fitted with original "Black Widow" bakelite grips and comes with a scarce blank aluminum-bottom magazine. The gun has retained about 91% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some scratches on the grip straps, a small area of wear on the back strap, minor thinning on the barrel, and some minor spotty oxidation on the right side of the barrel. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.
