Description
2/21/26 - This is a nice example of a BYF 42 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1942. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two original "Black Widow" magazines and a rare, brown 1942-dated holster. The gun itself has retained about ~85% of its original finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some thinning on the grip straps. The bore is has strong rifling, but there is some minor freckling in the grooves and minor frosting throughout. The holster is in very good condition with minor cracking on the front side of the holster. The leather strap is worn and there is a scuff at the bottom of the holster. The holster has clear maker stampings on its back and comes with an "eagle 63" tool.
