Description

11/22/24 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1942. It is "United States Property" marked, has a military cross-cannon cartouche, and has the proper "WB" inspector initials. It also has a proper "Colt 45 Auto" barrel. Import mark on the right side of the frame. Comes with one proper magazine. The entire gun has been arsenal refinished, and the color of the frame does not exactly match the frame. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there are tiny pits under the finish of the whole frame. Comes with nice period-correct grips - some minor wear on the left panel and some small dings on the bottom edge of the right panel. The rifling in the born is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.
