4/29/25 - This is an original Luger holster issued to the german military, and manufactured in 1942 by scarce maker Auwater & Bubeck. Dated, maker-marked with CDG, and waffen-proofed on the back, this holster is in great overall condition. The exterior leather exhibits handling marks, light scratches, a bit of rub wear, and minor scuffing throughout, but leather condition itself is excellent, firm and pliable. There is one slightly deeper scratch on the front above the closure strap, and what looks to be a very lightly etched name on the back below the model designation marking. Closure strap has some minor wrinkling, but is still in excellent shape. Stitching on this example is tight, original, and excellent.
