Description

7/31/25 - This is a nice example an original Mauser K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is completely matching, including the hand guard and stock (numbered internally). Correct Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The receiver has an "ar 42" maker code, indicating it was manufactured in the Mauser Borsigwalde factory in 1942. The metal parts have lost the majority of their original finish with honest spotty oxidation and patina throughout. The stock also shows typical signs of wear and age but no major damage. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is frosting throughout.
