Description
6/16/26 - For sale is a 1942 dated MP40 parts kit. The set includes buttstock, grip, and trigger assembly, cut and capped receiver, cut and capped magazine well and barrel, bolt and firing pin, magazine, strap, and various small parts. The base of the receiver connected to the stock is stamped "MP40 bnz42", indicating 1942 manufacture by Steyr. The rear receiver and barrel are both serialized 1521e and form a matching set. The larger chunk of receiver is unmarked and has what appears to be a bolt welded in place inside of it so a moving bolt can't be inserted. There is also a block welded inside the magazine well so a magazine will not fully seat and the barrel is not clear. The visible portion of the barrel appears clean and rates about 7/10. The additional bolt is serialized 5855e. The telescoping bolt with pin is intact and unmarked. The magazine is marked "M.P. 38 u. 40" and "fxo 42", indicating Haenel in 1942. The strap has light wear but is generally intact and is stamped "MP40". There is an English translation of the MP40 manual included. All parts have light finish wear nut no dents or serious damage. There are numerous factory and proof marks across the pieces, with the main pieces being from Steyr. Overall in good condition.
