9/14/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1942. One of only about 6,500 made. It is all matching, has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide, and has an installed police sear safety. It has retained about 90% of its original finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some thinning with a couple of small dots of discoloration on the front strap, an area of discoloration at the top of the back strap, and light spotty oxidation on both grip straps. The left grip panel is numbered and matching, the right is un-numbered. Comes with a mismatched but period-correct "Eagle L" police magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
