03/23/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1942, and was likely sent to the British as part of the Lend-Lease Program. The rifle is parts correct for a rifle in the early part of 1942. The rifle has a nice parkerized finish with some surface wear on the front left of the receiver. The stock is in good shape, but the surface has signs of being sanded. The SA/GHS and Ordnance Wheel stamps are thin. The bore is in fair condition. The rifling is still fairly strong, but it is darkening with some spotting of pitting are visible throughout. The barrel is marked with British proofs.
