Description
10/5/26 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1943. All matching and "Eagle N" proofed. The bluing has a really nice, slight plum tint to it. It comes as a rig with one post-war finger extension magazine and a period-correct but unmarked tan leather holster (noticeable wear on the top flap). The original finish rates roughly 85%, with thinning and spotty oxidation on the grip straps, minor muzzle wear, a couple of small spots of wear on the right side of the slide, and some light freckling on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. A wartime commercial PP with an attractive plum finish.
