Description
6/26/26 - This is a nice example of an Ithaca Model 1911A1 that was issued to the US military in 1943. It has all the proper markings with a cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. It has a correct HS High Standard barrel that has been parkerized. It comes as a rig with a period-correct Enger-Kress tan leather shoulder holster, two magazines, a leather magazine pouch, and a canvas lanyard. The gun has retained about 95% of its parkerized finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation on much of the gun, some grind or machine marks along both sides of the slide, and custom stippling on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Mint bore.
