Description
5/11/26 - This is a nice example of an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It has the proper proofs, "FJA" inspector initials, and has an "HS" marked High Standard barrel. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some light spotty wear along the top of the slide, and an area of obvious wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "L" marked magazine. The rifling in the bore is strong but there is some light frosting in the grooves.
