Description
8/7/26 - This is a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 95% of its finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and a hint of thinning and brown patina on the front strap. The finish looks really good and has all the properties of an original finish, but Rock Island previously listed this gun as being refinished. It is priced accordingly. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown grips and comes with a "Waffen 706" marked jvd magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is noticeable freckling and frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
