06/26/26 - For sale is a National Postal Meter M1 Carbine made around December of 1943. The carbine is parts correct for a rifle assembled at that time. The metal finish has an aged phosphate with some browning from oxidation and age. The stock had been sanded but in good shape overall. There is a hairline 1/2" crack behind the tang. The sling well is marked Trimble TN and the right side has "NPM FJA". The bore is bright with good rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 1. The barrel is marked Marlin which is correct for NPM.
