Description
8/17/26 - This is a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It has the proper "FJA" inspection initials with a cross-canon cartouche. The slide is a wartime field replacement Remington Rand slide with an "M 1911 AI U.S. Army" roll marking on the right side. It has a more modern replacement barrel. The gun has been completely refinish. It shows virtually no actual finish loss, but there is some very light pitting under the finish on the right side of the frame. Fitted with reddish plastic grips and comes with a more modern magazine. Minty bore.
