Description
8/24/26 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in November of 1943. All matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. Nearly all of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also very minor high edge / muzzle wear. Fitted with period-correct reddish particle grips and comes with an "Eagle 135" marked Mauser magazine (noticeable bluing loss). The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable frosting and freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
