05/28/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1943 that was converted to a Mk2 Mod 0 by H&R to 7.62 NATO. These conversions were done using chamber bushing but were deemed unreliable due to the sleeves coming loose and ejecting with a spent casing, creating a hazard. The rifle has a dark, smooth parkerized finish after being rearsenaled. The stock is a replacement and is unmarked. Many surface dings but no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright with good rifling with some wear towards the muzzle. Muzzle erosion rating is 3. The rifle is not parts correct internally.
