Description

1/6/25 - For sale is a M1 Carbine made by Underwood in late 1943. The carbine is in good condition with an aged parkerized finish throughout the rifle. The receiver has a slight browning patina throughout. The stock has been sanded sometime in the past. There is a 2.5" crack coming from the magazine well towards the forestock, and a 1/2" crack coming from the back of the trigger guard. 1.25" crack coming from the tang. The Circle P stamp is faded from the sanding. The GHD / UEF stamp is sharp despite the sanding, so we believe it has been re-stamped. The bottom of the forestock is scratched "JCM". The bore is fairly bright but there is pitting visible on the first inch of the muzzle. The parts list is included below.
