Description
4/23/26 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911A1 from 1944, refurbished and sold to the public through the CMP Program. It comes with its Pelican-style CMP case, owners manual, and one magazine. The frame was made by Colt in 1944, and the slide is also Colt. The barrel was made by High Standard. There is an "ANAD" arsenal marking on the right side of the frame, which stands for the Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama. The gun has been completely arsenal-refurbished. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are some very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
