Description
3/4/26 - This is an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-canon cartouche, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. The barrel is a more modern replacement. There is not much actual finish loss, but the slide appears to have been refinished. The majority of the slide shows noticeable pitting under the finish. The front strap shows small spots of what appears to be some sort of lacquer - appears like it could be scratched off. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one magazine. Very nice bore with great rifling, just hints of frosting in the grooves.
