Description
10/7/26 - This is a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is all original and has all of the proper markings, including the "FJA" inspector initials. It is fitted with a proper "HS" marked High Standard barrel. The original finish rates roughly 70%, with general high edge and muzzle wear and general thinning in much of the finish. There is some brown patina on the front strap, a small ding in the right slide serrations, and some minor discoloration on the slide stop. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a proper "R" marked magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout. A solid, honest WW2 Remington Rand.
