11/3/26 - For sale is a 1945 dated Canadian Inglis High Power shoulder stock. During WWII, John Inglis & Co. of Toronto produced the Browning High Power, and the No. 1 pattern pistols with tangent rear sights were fitted with a slot for this detachable wooden stock, which also served as a holster for the pistol. This walnut stock has the steel attachment fitting at the front, the hinged butt plate opening into the hollow body where the pistol is carried, and the web carrying strap. The stock is stamped "S.A. LTD. 1945," and the web strap carries ink inspection markings. The stock is in very nice condition overall with no major damage, showing signs of honest handling wear with dings and light scratches. A great accessory to complete a tangent sight Inglis High Power.
