Description
3/3/26 - This is an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is all correct with the "United States Property" marking, cross-canon military cartouche, and correct "FJA" inspector initials. It also has a proper "HS" marked High Standard barrel. It comes as a rig with "L" marked magazine and a "US" marked Enger-Kress leather shoulder holster. The gun has retained about 90% of its original parkerized finish. The majority of the actual finish loss is in an area on the right side of the frame where it appears someone tried to remove the serial number. The serial number remains intact. A few scratches on the left side of the frame around the slide release. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips. The bore has good rifling with just some light pin-pricking in the grooves.
